Shameless Self-Promotion: Chauncey DeVega on Ring of Fire TV Discussing Psychology, Biology, and the Republican Brain

I had the opportunity to sit down and chat with Farron Cousins and Ring of Fire TV last week. The spot is online as of last evening.

We discussed the 2016 presidential primary, the GOP's masterful use of talking points, and how Donald Trump and other Right-wing bloviators are able to so easily manipulate their public. I also got to make a reference to Cobra Commander and Teddy Ruxpin. Popular culture provides some of the best and most accessible examples through which to talk about political matters.

Most importantly, I look less like a pumpkin man and more like myself. My head is still gigantic and and the camera angle is not as flattering as it could be. Because of the kind donations and generosity of the friends and fans of my work online, you will be seeing some pretty big changes on that front in the very near future.

During this spot, I continued to work on speaking more slowly, as well as being more expressive with my facial gestures. It is a tough balance to achieve--one that I am diligently striving to attain.

As always, any thoughts, suggestions, or insights are welcome.
