A Weekend of Food Poisoning Will be Cured by Tonight's Debut of the Full 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Movie Trailer

I was waylaid by either an acute case of stomach flu or food poisoning on Saturday afternoon. I will spare the grim details (or perhaps save them for this week's edition of the podcast), except to say that I thought I was having a heart attack, jumped off of a city bus, wandered about a mile while discretely vomiting in the bushes and besides telephone poles, and then somehow made it home where I made friends with the toilet and a bucket while having convulsive dry heaves and other unpleasant expulsions from by butt. The upside? At least I didn't vomit and poop myself while stranded on public transit.

It would seem that my enemies at Fox News and in the Ben Carson, Bill O'Reilly camps may have summoned their dark powers against me.

An interesting weekend to say the least.

But I have the Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer to watch this evening. This will help to restore my drained Force points.

[Bill the Lizard and I will continue to fill in the plot for this newest installment in the Star Wars mythos as we have been periodically doing on the podcast. I believe that we are 90 percent spot on with the story; tonight's trailer will only confirm our Star Wars powers of prognostication.]

Are you excited for the Star Wars trailer? What do you think will happen in the new movie?

Given my incapacitated state--I probably smell worse than I look given that I was semi-asleep from 48 hours--I have fallen a bit behind regarding current events. To get the week started, please share any news items or others matters of public or private concern that you feel are pertinent, compelling, entertaining, or worthwhile.
