To break his hold over me, I had a great dinner and meeting with the good folks at Mulholland Books. They had a book party here in Chicago and were kind enough to reach out. I want to thank Champion Joe Lansdale for facilitating that happening. I sense a disturbance in the Force. Fingers crossed it is a good one.
I will also be going to C2E2 this weekend. I like nerd prom. The people are entertaining. I will take some photos of the great cosplayers as I have in earlier years. I am supposed to chat with one of my favorite actors too. Mick Foley is also scheduled for C2E2. I am going to do my best to steal ten or so minutes of his time.
As I have done for the last few weeks as we try to escape Trumpism, do you have any news items or stories of personal or public importance that you would like to share? What have we not been discussing because of my/our/the media's obsessive focus on Il Duce Immortan Joe Donald Trump?
