Verbal Diarrhea? Toure and Henry Louis Gates Jr. Talk to Each Other for Twenty or So Minutes About Black Authenticity

I will leave this interview between Toure and Dr. Gates open for your comments.

My thought? Sometimes 23 minutes and 33 seconds is 20 minutes far too long.

As an alternative, I would rather listen to Ol' Dirty Bastard reflect about the ladies and their stinky, sexy, feet:

i thought it was somewhat interesting. I got to the 10 minute mark and the ADD kicked in. Not a huge fan of either of these guys. Huge rap fan, like WU a lot can't say I would have necessarily enjoyed hearing ODB more

@dtwo. Wu-tang is for the children!

When I first found WARN I enjoyed just the idea that Black ideas were shared equally. Right, Wrong, both didn't matter as long as it opened discussions. Now it's become the who's blacker blog. ODB instead of two black men speaking through issue of blackness it's a sad day.

@Anon. The whose blacker blog? What are you talking about. I criticize all folks equally. I am not condemning toure and gates, I am just pointing out the excess of a rather tired argument. I love ODB. This was an exercise in contrasts and playfulness. Not an extended analysis on who is more "authentically black." Go back through the archives I think you will get that.
