Season's Greetings and Have a Very Happy (Robotech) Inspired Holiday Season

I could say Merry Christmas. But, that is already implied.

I could write about gratitude in the time of the Great Recession. But, that is understood.

I could be naughty and not nice. But, I did that earlier.

Instead, I bring you a little ghetto nerd nostalgia from a more innocent time.

Can any show do it better than Robotech? I don't think so...

Have a very happy and safe Christmas. And stay classy people. 'Cause if you don't, Robot Santa is going to come for that ass!

Happy Holidays Baracka Flocka.

Now, why would I, a respectable negro, participate in a made up holiday?

Just kidding. Are you?

all holidays are made up. because people aren't as estranged from the origin of kwanzaa (due to it's proximity with the present), it's more tempting to dismiss it. slanderous statements against Dr. Maulana Karenga notwithstanding...

yes, i'm celebrating, today is day 3:

The Third Day of Kwanzaa (December 28)

On the third day the black candle is lit, then the farthest left red, and then the farthest right green candle. This represents the 3rd principle of Kwanzaa - Ujima (oo-JEE-mah): Collective work and responsibility.

The third principle is discussed. The family shares the Unity cup and the candles are extinguished.
