Can You Do a Brother a Solid and Share My Alternet Essay "Dear White Christian America: Jesus Wasn't a White Surfer Dude" With Your People Online?



Can you do me a kind favor? Alternet has put my piece about white surfer Jesus on their front page. I appreciate the gesture. Can you good folks make sure to comment there, forward it around, share it on sites you frequent, and do that social media thing if you would?

The issues of race and representation in the History Channel's series The Bible are not getting their due shine. Let's change that if we can.

There are matters afoot in the background that I will one day share. But some love on "Dear White Christian America: Jesus Wasn't a White Surfer Dude" would be very much appreciated.
